Cookies have gotten a bad rap in recent years and now the entire web has annoying pop ups on every site to ask you whether you really, really, really want to store a text file. We are in the US and thankfully don't need to worry about such things though we have our GDPR pop up to annoy you just like everyone else sadly. But if you are really worried about it, cookies are stored locally so just delete them yourself.

Don't you wish they would have just distributed a free cookie remover to everyone instead of making the web ugly?

Cookies and Embedded Content

Now, articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) because that is how the web actually works, so duh. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies (don't worry they'll annoy you will a pop up too), embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that website.

The only place we collect personal data is if you put your email into our mailing list on the home page. If you do that you are consenting to us storing your email. If you don't want us to store your email then, you know, don't input your email in the first place and the problem is solved! If you'd like to unsubscribe from our mailing list you can do that via the unsubscribe button that comes in each one of our mailing list messages.

Password Reset

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email and probably your username too. Also we don't have a login on this site currently so this doesn't matter. But we will soon, so then it will matter, and then you just need to go back and read the above statement again.
